2022 - A Look Ahead

Hello!

It is not the new year yet, but I have already made a resolution.  I am going to be focusing on some new design collaboration work with some high quality heritage brands in 2022.  Not to sell 5000 items or get rich, but to bring a few neat things to market I hope people will love.  These products will not be my income and my financial living, they are more just a next step in this hobby of mine.  My goal is to delight heritage style white collar and blue collar customers with high quality at an affordable cost point.  These will be hand crafted high quality goods that endure time.  And small batch orders will be done in all cases. 

 

Some background – Before the pandemic I did  few design collaboration partnerships with some companies.  I learned a lot along the way.  I learned I only want high quality goods that have my design fingerprint and DNA.  I learned that this type of thing is a slow process.  High quality, small batch makers are really busy and it is often very difficult to get new products off the ground when you ask them or they ask you to partner on a design.  It is a long journey, often times taking frustrating and unexpected turns.  Through it all these are small businesses making ends meet and I do not get mad if something does not work out.  But the good news is, in 2022, the proverbial light can be seen at the end of the tunnel for what may be 4+ new collaboration designs I release expanding from leather into new designs on clothing, boots, and accessories.

 

What to expect – I plan to release one or more of these designs in the first quarter of 2022 with more following during the rest of the year.  I will be providing updates on this blog and in my Instagram account.  Please stay tuned and don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you want to know more sneak peak details!
